M&G are recruiting a Business Analyst within Technology & Transformation Team. This individual will join the Business Analysis Team within the Corporate Services Portfolio to support the delivery of the portfolio of Corporate Services projects for M&G. M&G has a number of initiatives currently running within the Portfolio, with several others expected to kick off in 2018. The successful candidate will work on a range of projects, initially focussing on analysis of the new Anti Money Laundering project & process transformation. The other major project currently in the portfolio is the eGRC (enterprise Governance Risk & Compliance) project – feeding into a Prudential Group-wide Programme to implement a new integrated eGRC solution encompassing Operational Risk, Compliance, Governance, Controls and Security. A degree of specialised knowledge or previous experience in these subject matters would therefore be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be a permanent member of the team and will be expected to tackle a combination of analysis tasks and responsibilities as dictated by the Portfolio’s change agenda, which may include strategic business process and technology projects across Finance, Operational Risk, Compliance, HR and Legal. The individual will need to manage senior stakeholders and bring a high level of organisation and planning to the role.
Working to fixed deadlines, the individual will be required to have a background in Business Analysis which will allow them to be largely self-sufficient in the execution of the role and in some instances, provide guidance to the M&G Business.
Subject matter knowledge on HR change and Operational Risk would be an advantage.
The individual should be a self-starter, with strong lateral thought, good analytical skills, curiosity and meticulous attention to detail, and accurate high-quality output.
You will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Understand individual business unit and M&G Group priorities and sensitivities within the Corporate Services space.
• Work proactively with key and senior business stakeholders to define project objectives, scope and plans.
• Provide subject matter knowledge, business analysis expertise, commercial awareness, and industry insight to initiatives within the Portfolio.
• Participate in, and actively promote, the Corporate Services agenda and Portfolio.
• Use business experience, knowledge and creative thinking to drive change and solve problems.
• Creation and maintenance of high quality Business Requirement Documents.
What we are looking for:
You will be ISEB Qualified, with strong knowledge of Asset Management. Experience of working on central change management projects would also be advantageous.
