We offer a supportive environment that encourages innovation and creativity whilst maintaining a healthy lifestyle balance. You will be joining one of Europe’s leading Investment Management firms where you can expect real responsibility and recognition from day one. M&G Collectives Operations is a new team within the Securities Administration section of Investment Operations.
It is primarily responsible for ensuring all CIS orders generated from fund managers across the organisation for both our internal range of funds and some of our external clients, are successfully placed in a timely and accurate basis, for the relevant dealing cut-off point, and are subsequently processed for confirmation and settlement within deadlines.
The Collectives Operations Analyst will join a team of three other people. All team members are expected to proactively consider the risks and controls associated with the workflows to support CIS and propose solutions for risk mitigation and efficiency.
You will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Oversight and exception management across all processes following auto-routed Aladdin CIS orders, to Transfer Agents.
• Placement of CIS orders to facilitate deal execution with Transfer Agents, utilising Aladdin functionality, or alternative manual methods as necessary.
• Confirmation of CIS orders within Aladdin and enable settlement processes to follow.
• Investigation and resolution of deal discrepancies, including monitoring and clearing of reconciliation breaks daily.
• Enable the set-up of new CIS as requested from fund management teams on internal systems and matrices, and externally with Transfer Agents and Custodians.
What we are looking for:
You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the life-cycle of CIS, from within an Asset Manager (front to back) through to the Transfer Agent and Custodian.
It is essential for you to have a numerate and logical mind-set with natural problem-solving skills, alongside natural attention to detail, including previous experience of second checking colleague’s work. You will also have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to communicate articulately to various teams across the organisation including Fund Managers, Fund Manager Support teams, Compliance, Risk and multiple teams within the Operations department, and externally with a variety of third parties. Proven excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work on several activities at the same time, is also highly important for this position.
You will be capable of working effectively under pressure, with varying multiple deadlines throughout the day. Assertiveness is a must, you will be confident dealing with and escalating potential issues to the Collectives Operations Specialist and/or Collectives Operations Manager, without hesitation.

We welcome applications from individuals who have taken an extended career break, and we are willing to consider flexible working arrangements for all of our roles.
