Working with M&G Prudential as a Aladdin Business Analyst means becoming part of a brand with a global reputation and an exciting vision: to become the most loved and most successful saving & investments business.
The forthcoming planned de-merger of M&G Prudential from the Prudential Group PLC provides a terrific opportunity to create a truly international and integrated savings and investments firm. A firm built on a rich and long history and with a commitment to an innovative future centred on the needs of customers and clients. There is a genuine opportunity to drive competitive advantage with value creation through the formation of this new organisation.
If you’re inspired to join us, and have the necessary qualities, then this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.
As a result of the implementation of Aladdin and the impending implementation of Aladdin Accounting, we have identified the need to create a team to look after the Aladdin platform end to end, to ensure that we deliver a robust daily service, manage change effectively across the platform and derive the maximum benefit from the platform. The Business Analyst role in the Aladdin Product Team is pivotal to ensuring that we can rapidly and effectively understand the business requirements and context in order to put forward the most appropriate solution to solve the business requirement.
Be a key part of the Aladdin Product Team, in becoming the centre of excellence and building a strong rapport and partnership with BlackRock.
Take responsibility for championing the use of Aladdin throughout the business, delivering excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement.
Work with business users to identify concerns or areas for improvement in their workflows and work with Aladdin ASM and BlackRock on the resolution of complex business problems using Aladdin.
Take ownership of issues and identify the most suitable delivery mechanism, whether that be internal development, BlackRock development or delivery of an immediate configuration change.
Assist in the improvement of the training offered to users, either internal or external courses.
Proactively work with BlackRock to identify other products in their suite which could potentially benefit the M&G Prudential user community.
The analysts would be asked to be proactive in their learning, for example attending sessions with other Aladdin users in the industry and bring back fresh ideas .
The team members would be expected to forge strong, positive relationships with BlackRock (both Client Services and the BRS Helpdesk globally) and view them as a partner.
You will have:
Logical approach to problem solving, from both a process and system perspective
A customer focused, proactive and positive attitude
The ability to build a network, both internally and externally
Ability to own an issue, from the requirement definition through to either delivery or the transfer of ownership to a development pipeline.
Previous experience of Aladdin or another OMS/EMS is preferential.
A broad understanding of the business and the stakeholders involved
Experience of managing multiple, demanding stakeholders at any one time. People who work at M&G Prudential agree that ours is a great place to work with a brilliant team spirit. It’s also an innovative, high-performing, commercial environment that’s totally focused on customers. As an M&G Prudential colleague you’ll get all the support you’d expect, including full training and professional development. You’ll receive a competitive salary and reward package. And in a fast-changing world, you’ll join an organisation that’s leading the way in helping customers achieve their long-term financial goals.
M&G Prudential is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our role as an employer is very simple – to provide the right environment for talented people to do their best work, by respecting, understanding and valuing individual differences.
We welcome applications from individuals who have taken an extended career break, and we are willing to consider flexible working arrangements for all of our roles.
